6 Podcasts Millennials Should Listen To While Commuting To Work

By the grace of God, I haven’t had to commute to work in over 5 years, but every now and then, I’ll have to beast the crazy traffic in Dallas for work or to run an errand. When I’m not jamming out to some of my favorite playlists on Apple Music, you can always catch me listening to podcasts.

I have subscribed to a ton of podcasts (so many that it’s taking up too much storage), but I have 6 favorites that I listen to frequently that I think all Millennials should know about. These podcasts are perfect to listen to while commuting to work, running errands, or completing assignments at work. If you have any other podcasts that you love that I did not list, drop the names below!

1. Millennial Lov3: Sex, Love & I’m Selfish AF!

This podcast is the newest addition to my collection, and it’s so good that I never forget to tune in each week. Millennial Lov3: Sex, Love & I’m Selfish AF! is hosted by Michele “Miché” Haley, Justin August, and Cara “Cara D.” Davis. They are three Black Millennials who discuss the complexities of friendships, relationships, and building your career. This podcast is not only relatable, but it’s also enjoyable AF too.

2. The Read

Hosted by my faves Kid Fury and Crissle, The Read is a weekly one-hour (or more) podcast that discusses Black Excellence, current events or people that are a hot mess, and everything in between. Towards the middle of the podcast, they will take listener letters and will hilariously answer each of them, and finally at the end, they will give their “read” for someone or something that deserves a good criticism. If you need a laugh, download this podcast. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

4. Side Hustle Pro: Female Entrepreneurs

Each week Nicaila chats with Black, female entrepreneurs and gets the gems on how they took their business from “passion project to profitable business.” Although this podcast is geared towards women, I’m confident that any person (man or woman) can learn from Nicaila and her entrepreneur guests. If you need a boost of inspiration for your startup or side hustle, Side Hustle Pro is a must listen.
